Most commercial metal fabrication projects are quoted per job based on material type and thickness, complexity of cuts and welds, and required finishes. For reference, small custom parts and brackets often fall in the $750–$3,000 range, while mid-size structural or architectural components for light commercial builds typically range from $5,000–$25,000. Larger, multi-phase fabrication packages for industrial or municipal construction are usually estimated as bundled scopes starting around $40,000 and up. Every project begins with a detailed takeoff so Midwest contractors get a clear, line-item estimate before work begins.

We offer flexible engagement models to match how you build: prototype and one-off fabrication for testing new designs; repeat-run production with volume pricing for standard parts; and turnkey fabrication-and-erection packages for full structural systems. Prototype work is commonly billed time-and-materials with minimums around $500–$1,500. Production runs shift to unit pricing once quantities and specifications are locked in, often dropping per-piece costs by 15–30%. Turnkey packages are contracted on a fixed-scope basis with defined milestones, making it easier to align with your construction schedule and budget approvals.
